Sustainability is evolving quickly due to the many influencers with various agendas.

Green Purchasing and Sustainability dealt with many specific areas in which the purchasing professional is likely to practice. This course focuses on many concepts that are shaping or influencing the evolving views of sustainability.

The intent of this course is to focus on objective, measurable, and scientific realities so that our decisions are based on justifiable data. You will see examples of concepts taken from today's news.

This course is a requirement for the CGPP update as of September 1, 2020.

The self-running online sustainability courses are attended via the Internet. They require up to two or three continuous hours of attendance. Students are initially contacted by email with instructions on how to take the course for which they have registered. Students may attend the course at any time during the day. This makes the online sustainability courses more convenient for students. All materials are included in the price of the course and will be available online while attending classes. These online sustainability training courses are nonrefundable. Instructions for these online sustainability courses are usually sent within a few days of registration. Normally, the Society likes to see these types of courses completed within a month of having sent out the instructions. If too much time elapses without a course being completed the student may have to register for it again.
