I am thankful for being part of the American Purchasing Society. Thru the indexes that are sent in the publications I was able to use the data to get a raise for my job as well as improve my work benefits. With the certifications I have received, I have become more valuable to the company I work for. I am grateful what the American Purchasing Society provides.

The biggest challenge that I came across was that I initially could not decide on which certification to pursue. So many companies offer certifications and it is difficult to vet each one. I ultimately decided on pursuing the CPP and purchased a membership and could not be happier. The first day of my membership, I immediately reaped the benefits and could see the value of just the membership alone with the resources that are given to members. I look forward to working with the APS toward my CPP certification.

Many times I have had to reach back to the instruction received to answer and perform in optimal performance. That is why I continue to learn, and belong to such great groups of Purchasing organizations.

I enjoyed reading buyer's guide and articles also profiles of peoples whom I can get profit from their experiences APM gives a benefits for its members can help our actual business thanks for APS
